I've been trying to get to this thrift shop and finally made it Saturday! Cape Ann Thrift Shop in Gloucester was a FUN stop. Here is a shop we can all love because it is several rooms of wares, not curated, and you must look up down and all around. It also has a staff that will take you on a tour when they find out you haven't been before, which was good because I wasn't sure which direction to go in. I found some awesome shoes, a handmade vintage bag, some amazing glassware, the 23rd Psalm framed, so much beautiful stemware (2 rooms of glass and stem ware), a craft area, along with women's, men's and children's clothing rooms and yes, the requisite Pfaltzgraff. I bought a really amazing roll of Halloween ribbon (not wishing away summer but looking forward to using it ;) ) and a nice vintage linen piece with shamrocks. A bit of history was available - a fun read, see photos. They had free stuff too, on Saturday, a beautiful headboard mirror. Plan a trip here! TrinityGloucester thrift shop You won't regret it, plus there is so much more to do in Gloucester, like heading around the corner to St. John's, another church thrift shop, reviewed in a previous blog. Waze took me straight to the shop at 70 Middle St, Gloucester, MA 01930, parking was super easy in the Church parking lot, please respect the volunteer parking spaces. Open Tues. 10 - 2, Thurs. 10 - 2, Sat 10 –noon. No bathrooms but visit the Greater Cape Ann Chamber Office & Visitor Center at 24 Harbor Loop Gloucester, MA 01930. #gloucester #thrift #thrifting #thriftshops #thriftstops #newenglandthrifting #newnglandthiftshops #newenglandthriftstops #thriftinginNewEngland #thriftingcapeann #gloucester #thriftinggloucester #churchthriftshops #churchthriftstore #churchthriftshop #churchthriftstores #gloucesterma
